CodeSnapper is provided as a developer utility to extract and transcribe source code visible in screenshots, tutorial videos, IDE windows, and terminal captures.

By using CodeSnapper, you agree that:

• You will only upload screenshots of code, materials, and assets that you own, have created, or have full legal permission/license to use.
• You will not upload copyrighted materials, proprietary codebases without authorization, or sensitive personal data.
• You will not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, overwhelm, or bypass rate limits on the service or its underlying AI APIs.
• You will not use CodeSnapper for any unlawful, infringing, or malicious activities.

CodeSnapper uses Google Gemini Vision AI to transcribe code from image pixels. While our extraction engine achieves exceptionally high accuracy on clear screenshots, the service is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

AI vision models can occasionally misread subtle punctuation, ambiguous glyphs (such as 1 vs l vs I, or 0 vs O), or distorted characters from low-resolution images.

Important: You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and verifying any extracted code before executing, compiling, deploying, or incorporating it into production software. The creator of CodeSnapper makes no representation or warranty regarding the execution correctness or fitness for a particular purpose of any extracted code.

CodeSnapper is designed, owned, and operated by Mubashir Shaikh (© 2026). All website code, design, branding, and interfaces are the intellectual property of Mubashir Shaikh.

Your Content: You retain 100% full ownership and intellectual property rights to your uploaded images and the resulting extracted code. CodeSnapper does not claim any ownership over your code or screenshots.

As detailed in our Privacy Policy, uploaded images are never written to disk, never stored in databases, and discarded from server memory immediately upon extraction completion.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Mubashir Shaikh or CodeSnapper contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, compile errors, production bugs, or service interruptions.
